Should companies allow co worker dating

After the 90-day mark however, people tend to be more ready to commit. And when this happens, hiding things can also tend to become more difficult because the way the couple interacts has started to become habitual.

It is inevitable that chemistry between certain individuals will abound.

Some companies don’t mind, while others have deemed it a “mandatory no”.

Some work places that may not allow employee dating may even require that one of the two employees resign!

And so, if three or four months have gone by, again, in person conversations are always appropriate.

Make sure to be clear with your boss that although you are dating person X, it won’t affect your ability to perform at work. They especially hate relationship drama, as that tends to be charged with extra emotion and sexual tension that can spread, subconsciously to other members of the team.

So, my best advise is to be clear on your current work-place policy before falling head over heels for a co-worker.
